Looks like the Koni sale is back...

Just a heads up for everybody, was just sifting through AM's March sale, and the Koni's are dirt cheap. $262 for a complete set of 05-10 style STR.T's, and $490 for a complete set of 11-14 style Sports. For those who were going to do just springs, do yourself a favor and get some dampers. I'd already ordered Steeda shocks/struts at a great price, but these are REALLY great.

Also, the Street Scene front lip for 13-14's (same one dmichaels uses) is $249 on clearance at AM as well. That's the best price I've seen on that one, which is actually somewhat functional.

Every time this sale comes around I debate what to do. Steeda coilovers or Koni yellows, plates, and Steeda Sport springs......sheesh.

The debate is real. A kit with everything, or a pieced together kit. I know the pieced together kit is tried and tested with good results, but having the kit all put together with pieces designed to work together and full adjustability is very appealing.

If looking at the STR.T shocks and struts, would I be getting the 05-10 or the 11-14 ones? What is the difference? Do I do the 11-14 with the factory mounts, and the 05-10 with the GT500 mounts? Will there be any difference in springs or ride height with the GT500 mounts and the 05-10 shocks and struts? I was looking at the H&R super sports to go on there, but didn't want to go that low if the 05-10 were going to make it sit even lower. I was looking for a 1.5 or so drop and a more leveled look. I don't want too much rake towards the back end. I was only looking at the H&Rs because I had them on my last car and they road really nice for daily, but handled really well.

05-10 style struts need 05-10 style mounts (like the GT500's) or 05-10 style camber plates.

11-14 style struts need either stock 11-14 mounts or aftermarket 11-14 camber plates like the Steeda HD's.

05-10 struts are a bit cheaper than 11-14 stuff, and because you can use the much-better GT500 mounts with the older style, you can get upgraded mounts without having to spend $300+ on camber plates. In the end you end up with a cheaper/better situation. And if you DO want camber plates, the older style of those are cheaper than the 11-14 style too. Cheaper/same-quality in that situation.

Perfect. Thanks for the confirmation. That's what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure.

I think you have to add them separately rather than in the package with all 4.

Why are 11-14 so much more than the 05-10?
Doesn't make much sense.

Exactly
I ordered the yellows last night and got the deal but you have to order the separates.
Got the shipping notice today.
They will probably sell out by the way they are selling.

I've been waiting a year for this sale lol. Last year AM was sold out of the STR.T rears @ $52 each almost instantly. Got the email yesterday and jumped right on. This year they are $46 each! They shipped this morning. I'll have them Wednesday.
