My thoughts exactly... Mine is Grabber Orange, and I'm a "contrasting" kind of guy too! Getting these for spring...

I constantly hear that rear window louvers are so 80's when people see them on my car. I then remind them that my car is from the 80's!!!

Also, do these lift up somehow so you can clean the back window or are they secured on 3 sides with tape? The Camaro louvers are hinged at the top and use zeus fasteners around the rear window since it's a hatchback, so it's easy to raise up and clean.

That is one of the nicest 3rd Gens I have seen! You could rock a mullet so hard in that! But truthfully a beautiful car! :-)

Love them. If I wasn't a convertible freak it would be one of my first mods.

My 69 Mach had them back in the day. I really like the look. Only bad thing is if you drive in snow it is hard to keep visibility.

Louvers on the back look great. Kinda reminds my of my old Cobra II.

I think the side louvers on the Red car match better (in shape) than the louvers on the Silver car. I also wonder if the side louvers would be better black. Looking at some old photos, the side louvers usually matched the rear louvers in color (be it painted to match the car color or both painted black). Just looks a little off to me having them mismatched.

Do they make rear louvers in any color other than black? i dont believe I have ever seen another color....

I have considered doing this myself. My question has been what are the purpose of them?

Just keeping the car cooler?

Looks cooler?

Helps keep condensation off the rear window in the morning?

Like another poster asked, how do you clean the window if need be?

oh, the car looks good btw

Only offered in black, but can be painted to match if wanted.

Appearance mod, plus keeps inside cooler. They were an option on the 69/70 Mustangs.

The MRT aluminum ones are hinged & cleaning the rear window is easy. Some brands are not & would have to be removed to clean the window.

Agree, looks great!

Nice looking Camaro, I'll post a picture of my 2006 Z28 for all the haters.

Agreed, I'm doing the same. Body-colored side louvers go well with body-colored hood vents too. Looks good, OP!

According to the MRT website, they can supply them to you, painted in most any color you want.
