Thumbs up Big Shout Out to Diode Dynamics and Demonized Designs

As promised, vendors who are deserving will get a big shout out from me. A big big big big thank you to Nick C. from Diode Dynamics and Jeff from Demonized Designs for taking care of me with my fog lights/halos.

Everything took less than a week. Given my latest experience with HIDGuy, I was leery of the next retrofitting light vendor. Sean (MJJ - thanks buddy!) recommend Diode, but they didn't really offer a retrofit service, so he recommended one of his top installers, Jeff. I worked with both of them from the get go. Jeff is one of a kind. Let me tell you. I thought I was meticulous, but this guy is off the charts. My kindda guy. LOL. Anyways, he was very communicative throughout the whole process. He was texting me status updates and answering questions as he went. He actually recommended he black out the chrome…so we dechromed it.

From start to finish, he got my lights all done in 2 days or less. A far cry from HIGGuy's 7 weeks, and the product I got was crap.

Anyways, those of you with lighting need, look up Diode Dynamics and Demonized Designs. They're also on Facebook and Instagram.

Jeff and Nick, many thanks again. If I went with you from day 1, I would have saved 2 months.

I am curious how it looks with the LED portion on. The halo looks great.

All the configs should be posted above. Do you mean just the fogs on? If so, can't do it. As you know, parking lights must be on for fogs to be on. And the halos are wires directly to parking.

Burton - it looks like the center part of the fog is an LED but does not appear to be lit up. It looks like just the halos are on. I was curious about it because Diode Dynamics sells those as a replacement for the halogen bulb that comes stock. Just wondering how bright it is.

Vincent, that is correct. In that particular shot you quoted above, the LED Fog bulb itself is off. I don't have any close ups of halos on with the fogs on. However, the first few pics I posted of the lights on DO have them on. The halos COB's are so bright that it washes out the fog LED's and you can't even tell they're on. In addition, we also dechromed the fog light housing itself, that's why it doesn't reflect as much. This is what I wanted to tie in the front end more, and bring the center of focus to the halos.

That being said, the fog light themselves are not Diode Dynamics, but VLED's 6000k.

Nick, thanks again buddy. Hey, I need to contact you for replacement Fog LED's. Can you link me what you have for 6000k fogs? I want to replace those VLEDs... lowest heat please, if possible.

Looks awesome! How bright are the fogs compared to before? The pics make them look kind of dim, but that may be the filtering you have used for the pictures.

oh they're' MUCH darker. MUCH MUCH MUCH darker. You know why? It's the dechromed/black housing. Amazing how bright lights are because of the housing themselves. But that's ok, I don't plan on running fogs anymore. Just halos.

Lamin X tint applied. Gunsmoke on fogs and side markers, light tint on headlights. What say y'all? Good? Too dark? Too light? I might have to redo the side marker tints…cuts were not as perfect as I want them to be. I did those first as my "trial". I will be adding the same tint to the rear side markers too.

I would leave the rear side markers alone IMO. The front tints look good though.

I looked at the tint again today...wow. It really makes and complete the car.
