Sparco Racing Hood Pins

I got these through Silver Horse Racing. I used the mounting brackets from my Scott Drake/Shelby hood pins to mount these. I don't have any finished pics of under the hood as I still need to cut the holes in the GT500 radiator cover and reinstall that. I like these as they're much more user friendly not having to deal with the lanyards scuffing your paint or loosing the pins if you don't use the lanyards! Also, they're not anywhere near as bulky as the Scott Drake/Shelby pins (I didn't want them to take away from the sleek look of the GT500 front/cowl hood). I used pop rivots in the front two holes, but had to use the supplied screw in the back as the rivot gun was unable to fit down in the "U" channel.

I don't have any full pics with the hood pins installed, but that is the '69 BOSS scheme done in Alloy

Very well executed - one question - hopefully used aluminum rivets? If so, maybe a drop of clearcoat on them just to keep them looking good long-term...

Send some pics our way, need to update our site anyway

Thanks! They are aluminum and I'll put some clear coat on them. As soon as I get a chance to keep the car clean, I'll take some good pics and send your way

I love the way it looks and can't wait until this winter weather is done, so that I can put that setup back on!

Not sure on rivot size as they came out of a "spare parts" drawer. If the weather is nice this weekend, I'll get the car cleaned up under the hood and take some pics.
