Looking for my first set of wheels!!

Hi everybody:

I'm looking for my first set of aftermarket wheels. There are so many options that I will be needing some help. Here are my options right now:

- HP Desing Lightning Hypersilver,
19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 back
$1300-$1400
Maybe 235/35/19 front and 245/35/19 back or
Maybe 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 back
http://www.hpdesignwheels.com/

- Caroll Shelby CS67
20x9 front and 20x10 back
$1520
Maybe 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 back or
Maybe 255/35/20 front and 275/30/20 back

These are the top of my list. The price difference is not much in the wheels and tires set. Now, here are my questions:

- Which wheels will be best for a daily driver?

- Which wheel will be best for highway driving at 80-100mph?

- Which wheel combination will be best for driving?

- Which wheel combination will be best for showing off?

- Most imortant. Which wheel and tires will you get for yourself?

I will really appreciate any help that you can give me.

Thanks to all.

Diego

I like your first choice in wheel better.

From what I have observed, the larger the wheel, the harsher the ride. 20's obviously give you more wow factor. Also the larger the wheel, usually means more weight and that will reduce your performance somewhat. If it's a daily driver you probably wont' care all that much about that. Given your 2 choices, I'd say both would be a PITA to keep clean! As far as what I'm getting for myself, not saying, I don't want anyone else in my zip code to have them!

Talking Choices .....

These are some of my favorites !!
From Left to Right

1. Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dogs
2. Cragar Series 610
3. Ford Chrome Bullitts
4. CTR Wheels - Ford GT Replicas
5. BBS RGR
6. Shelby CS67's available in 18x9.5 in Nov. (Three Pictures)
7. Mustang Tunings Shelby GT500 Replica Wheels.

This will drive you crazy for a few weeks at least !!!

@2005sonicgt
Thanks but the Ultralites is not what I'm looking for. The Ultralites II looks nice.

@rocket88
Thanks a lot for your insite. That's one point for the HP. For a daily driver maybe 19" is better.

@GTRacerX
Thanks too. I will like to see those CS67 in 18 maybe it's what I need, another option. The BBS looks *****ing but my wife bended 2 BBS wheels in her WRX and at $800 a pop, I don't think I could take it.

By the way not a big fan of chrome nor black wheels. My new wheels should be in aluminum finish or silver paint with big lip.

Thanks to all

I have the CTR wheels on order, will post pics once I get them on. They arrive tomorrow, but not sure when the tires will make it.

I think I will get the HP wheels. What will be the best tire size for the 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 rims?

Thanks
