Not the only one Jon

I'm on the fence right now. Looking into the Cdc or Sse ducktail. Every once in a while though, the Gt500 spoiler looks tempting. So hard to choose

Go for the CDC. It really looks stunning on the Mustang!

And btw, the Cervinis looks HUGE in direct comparison to the CDC.

My Cervinis Series Type III Ducktail covers the holes with small poly they could be winglets or something. I don't think they are too obtrusive.

Unfortunately there are not a lot out there that cover the factory holes. I am not a fan of the "plugs" or "strips" used to cover in the holes when adding a ducktail spoiler. So if you go the route of CDC or StreetScene I would say get the holes filled in properly. Other than that, go with the GT500 spoiler as I think it is the next best option. But hey, that is just my opinion

The only trouble I'd have with deciding is whether or not I car to have the 3rd brake light. The SSE looks fine but sometimes when I see the 3rd brake light in that spoiler it ruins the clean look for me. CDC hands down has the nicest look. When I get some free time I may just go get some qoutes.

Yeah, theres no comparison. Cervinis spoiler is massive. Too big if you ask me.

Yeah, I want it done right. The GT500 is alright on some days. Other days I think it looks too big for my taste. Tough decisions.

From what I have seen, the Streetscene spoiler flows better with the existing panels (CDC is thicker along the bottom of the 2 side pieces). I went with SSE because I didn't feel like mounting a brake light in the rear window but now I wish I had. I do prefer the look without the opening for the brake light.

I guess we should get back on topic since this is regarding spoilers that cover factory holes.

you could always use the plugs until you can afford having the deck filled. I may try a flathead bolt painted body color until I can do it.

I'm surprised someone hasn't made a very low profile one- something like the small spoilers on the M3's. They're all too big for me, that's why I went the spoiler delete route (shopped around and found a shop that did it for $400).

The stock V6 spoiler is pretty low-profile.

Street Scenes Gen II isn't that far off either, though certainly larger and wider.

Well, I'm convinced... 100% cdc spoiler

It's going to be done right when I do it too. Might as well get the holes covered up and done with. What I have also been debating is whether I should just buy a whole new trunk to avoid issues. Either way, not a economic mod Thanks guy for the convincing.

Dusti - the best one IMO is to go with the gt500 spoiler if you want something to cover the holes.

Has someone priced a new trunklid? It may be cheaper than getting the other filled.

It was 400 last time I checked. I'm sure it can be found cheaper. I asked the parts counter. Might look into it later today.

Wow, compared to the Cervinis, the GT500 looks small. Seems more modern, where the Cervinis and CDC look very retro.

Here's the fang fiberglass ducktail trunklid available through aeroform. If it wasn't so bulky looking it would be a winner @ $549.95 IMO.

That is bulky. My 07 currently has the SSE one, I'll be switching to the CDC and getting the 3rd brake light window option. Looks 10x better IMO.
