My '05 gt with 95k no mods yet still trying to figure out what to buy first I did delete the mufflers but that was just for noise lol I live in north east Arkansas and Naja (stangs name) is a daily driver I'm wanting about 400 rwhp so any advice would be appreciated.!! One more question I have all but decided to go with a SCT tuner any suggestions on which speed shop and or tunes I should go with?? Glad to meet everyone

My 83 chevy has that kind of power so I'm fairly used to it but I fully understand where your coming from I have kids and can't stand idiot drivers lol I have already decided on a few upgrades but I am starting with a tune as soon as I figure out which one is the absolute best as far as tune shop and what I get for my money

Steeda is a great choice

Plenty of reviews here regarding our tunes:

We write our tunes to be safe, reliable & powerful out of the box!

Here is James, one of our lead tuners:

James has over 15 years of experience professionally tuning Fords - mainly the Mustang, Focus, Fusion and F-series. He was previously employed by SCT and trained many of their top tuners! James takes pride in providing quality, conservative tunes that you will feel confident in loading onto your daily driver. Reliability while providing tremendous gains are at the core of our tuning values. - See more at: http://www.steeda.com/sct-mustang-x4....RCVyfy3F.dpuf
Let me know if I can help assist with any questions you may have.

Best Regards,

If you want 400whp, go straight to a blower. Skip all the bolt ons for now. The blower kit will get you there, maybe a little more. Then you can do a full exhaust and some additional cooling/supporting mods, but many of the "off the shelf" blower kits are made to go on an otherwise stock car.

Welcome to TMS btw!&

And remember your brakes. The stock brakes are OK for the original power and typical driving. But they may be disappointing under harder use, especially with more HP.

If you are thinking of any track time, look hard at the brakes as well as the motor.

And welcome!
