ford 302 85 msd igniton and edelbrock intake and carb problems

Just got all the work done timed it at 12 degrees and can't get the thing to idle for Me for a long period of time. It is a mechanical distributor. I have the firing order correct. Also when it does idle its rough and drops when I hit the gas unless I slowly go down and increase throttle

I checked for leaks did not find any, and it was a kit that came with everything. I'm thinking maybe the timing is off I have mid grade gas in the tank. Is there an easy way to look for leaks I may have missed
