Transmission fluid level

I have a 1966 coupe. I recently changed my transmission pan as it was leaking. Prior to this my transmission fluid level would show bubbly and significantly above the high mark. I took my car to the local mustang shop for this issue. They"fixed" it. Didn't see any difference in what I was seeing. So after changing my pan I very carefully added fluid until after a 30 minute or so drive the fluid level was normal. Yesterday I took a 90 minute drive and checked again. Once again the fluid level was high and bubbly.

I'm at my wit's end. I seriously doubt I have too much fluid in the transmission. Are there any other causes for this? The transmission shifts and performs well.

Thank you

Allen

if by chance you put a little too much in it will simply exit the overflow valve on the top of the trans .. I have never heard of a symptom involving a little frothing of fluids .. they work under very much pressure and are sure to stir up an air bubble now and then ...
