Woulda Been: 1989 Saleen Mustang SSC

Pretty tough to discredit the appeal of this Mustang that was just up for sale on eBay.

I mean, where do you start? The fact that it’s a limited edition 1989 Saleen SSC? Or the fact that it only has 6,400 original miles?

According to the eBay listing, the Mustang is one of only 161 made and has all the original VIN tags on panels, bumpers, hood, fenders, doors, and quarter panels as proof of its authenticity. Practically everything on the car is original, including the Champion spark plug wires and the General XP2000Z Tires.

The only equipment that isn’t original are the upgraded Tokico Shocks, but the original shocks were included in the sale.

The SSC Mustang also features a signed dashboard by Mr. Steven Saleen himself, and all documentation and paperwork on the car since it was first purchased.

The bidding ended at just north of $30k, so hopefully someone is very happy.
