Watch This Mustang Sleeper Murder the Drag Strip!

Bright paint jobs, big tires, big spoilers, and big egos. Those are the common traits shared between most drag racing machines and their owners. Though every now and then, along comes a driver that prefers to fly under the radar. And perhaps, that’s the best kind!

This fuel and adrenaline pumped video by BigKleib34 demonstrates an early ’90s Mustang sleeper showing up at the drag strip in an understated and nonchalant fashion. But things quickly change as this sleeper warms up and burns some rubber prior to the start of the race. And that’s not all that gets burned in this vid.

After reliving some of the Mustang’s victories, including a smoking quarter mile of 8.34 seconds at 165.58 mph, we see this mighty Mustang sleeper doing a massive wheelie, as if it were trying to prove a point. Wonder what it could be?
