Throwback 1995 Saleen S351 Commercial: A Hidden Gem

Now that Saleen is back in the game with the new 700hp 2013 S351, we thought it fitting to take a closer look at the S351s before it. I’d never seen this TV commercial before, but it’s a classic!

An unknown driver, very Stig like, approaches a barn that corrals both a four-legged Mustang and the then new 1995 Saleen S351. Awesomeness ensues before he takes the four-wheeled Mustang out for a cruise on what appears to be Willow Springs Raceway. The video describes the ’95 S351 as having advanced aerodynamics, Racecraft suspension, 18-inch wheels and 371 horsepower–true statements for the time!
