This Mustang III concept was being prepared to meet its fate at the hands of a car crusher, however, the man principally behind the project, Vincent Gardner, had another idea.

Ford will most likely build the next generation Mustang at the Ford Flat Rock plant. They’ll also be building the next MKS at the Flat Rock plant instead of the Chicago Assembly plant, where it’s currently built alongside the FWD/AWD Taurus and Explorer.
