Sutton CS800: Euro-Inspired, Custom 800-HP Mustang GT
Sutton CS800 would probably be a big hit with muscle car fans in the U.S., too.
Seems like some fellow Mustang fans across the pond have come up with their own unique way to spice up the S550.
However, their approach to customizing the sixth-gen Mustang would probably appeal to more than a few fans of the Ford pony car here in the States, too.
The hot custom mod, known as the Sutton CS800, was created by Clive Sutton, an exotic luxury car dealership based in London. And while it might be aimed at luring more high-end buyers in Europe to the Mustang, many of the mods are clearly rooted in the same passion that drives customizers in the U.S.

Take, for example, the fact that under the hood the CS800 packs an 800-horsepower boost to the Mustang GT’s 5.0-liter V8. That comes courtesy of a Stage 2 Whipple supercharger, upgraded intercooler, new injectors, and a large throttle body. The Sutton creation also features a custom exhaust system with long tube headers, sports catalyst, and active-controlled quad tailpipes. All of which will surely appeal to the Mustang’s American fan base, as well.
Exterior upgrades include a carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts, and a “Super Snake” hood. The CS800’s trunk-lid features a flip-up spoiler integrated into the design, also made of carbon fiber. Inside, Clive Sutton’s 800-horsepower Mustang is fitted with Ford Performance Recaro seats, as well as a bespoke carbon fiber dash. As you might expect, there are also a number of Sutton and CS800 badging elements planted throughout the car.
The CS800 is priced at 64,950 GBP, which comes out to “far from cheap” in the U.S. Or, in more official calculations, around $83,000 at the current exchange rate.
