What is that thing on the visor? I am guessing the three buttons are the homelink thing, but what is the other thing just before it?

Wow, it does sound pretty nice, but they still need to do something about the engine itself now that people might actually be opening the hood with an interest in what's underneath it!

I'll guess it's for a battery for the Homelink....

On jalopnik's preliminary write up they mention it i think...
"there's also a trinkety accessory clip for the passenger sunvisor which allows you to clip in stuff like sunglasses holders or tissue holders or what-have-you. Things we're not interested in."

As much as I detest engine covers, this one needs it. That being said, would rather see this 1000x over the old 4.0 under the hood.

A strut tower brace and a custom cold air intake should draw all the attention away from the ugly air intake manifold. Maybe Ford Racing will offer a better air intake manifold to replace it in the future.

It is only a matter of time before Midwest Auto Gear makes a cover for it but I'm sure that it will cause clearance issues for those that want a strut tower brace.

The funny thing is that the Camaro comes with engine covers for the V6 and V8 models. That is the first thing that I would get rid of if I owned one of those.

Nice!!! I liked how the front end came up on one of the kicks. I can't wait to order my V-6.

That thing really does sound nice when he gets on it a bit, much more a tight, sporty Euro sound than the usual agrarian groan/moan typical out of American V6s. Not too loud, but you don't want to scare the hairdressers and secretary's who, heretofore, we the V6 buyers (that may change now). Of course, it will be about 27 minutes after the '11 V6 hits the showroom floors that 27 aftermarket exhausts will hit the shelves.

It will be a very interesting comparison between the current 4.6 now that the V6 model seems to be transmorgifying into a genuine performance piece than boulevard cruiser.

Wouldn't all of the current GT axle back exhaust systems work? There might be a slight difference, but I don't see why not.

Thinking the same thing, given the same general output levels and thus, by extension, roughly the same throughput of exhaust gasses.

Anyone watch the C&D report from LA on youtube? While the reporter looks a little older than five he does seem to have the IQ of about a five year old. Quote "Finally the 4.0L V6 that the Mustang has had since, I think before I was born..."
