Well, possibly in a way. The 2.8 variant in the Cologne V6's long lineage was used in the Mustang II back in the mid-'70s and in the early FoxStangs of the late-'70s, maybe even early '80s. I even had the 2.6 variant in a 1973 Capri I had back in the day (nice motor back then - plastic cam gears excepted - but that was way back then).

That does look like a new red? Looks to be similar to the 65 Ragoon Red. The color that I would like to paint my 65. That would be a nice match. 2011 in Race Red, and a 65 in Ragoon Red!

Thanks for the vid!

Funny you say that, I had a '78 Cobra II and one day while taking friends out to lunch from work, the nylon cam gears let go. What a strange feeling. Engine cranks...no compression of course everything is hung open. Once those steels were installed, I sounded like a blower. LOL...

I like it

I would seriously consider one of those in place of my GT. How can you beat 305 HP & 30MPG???......Ok well maybe 400+HP & 25MPG. (just guessing on the GT). But still, and at 00:25 sec in the video the car sounds mean. I can't wait to drive one.

Here's another decent video of the 2011 v6. It has some convertible shots as well. The only downside to the video is that I can't understand one word they're saying.
