Saleen SA-30 Mustang Tops Power List for 30th Anniversary Models
It looks like Shelby American isn’t the only company using the 2013 LA Auto Show to showcase a new specialty Mustang.
To mark its thirty year anniversary, Saleen has rolled out a SA-30 Mustang model at the Los Angeles show as part of a new specialty lineup that also includes SA-30 models based on the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger.
Custom SA-30 features include ‘Tire Smoke” pearl white Saleen paint with Speedlab yellow and black painted components matched with pearl white Saleen wheels.
Interior features include a serialized dash plaque, interior badging and SA-30 carpeting. Even the seating has been upgraded with a black leather and white perforated alcantara treatment.
Customers also have the option of having their SA-30 Saleen model completely overhauled inside to turn the car into a 2-seater Fastback.
The SA-30 Mustang edition cranks out the most power among the new models with 625HP.
All of the limited edition SA-30 platform models come equipped with a Saleen suspension package carried over from current Saleen vehicles. Yellow powder-coated Saleen big brake kits are standard on all SA-30 vehicles.
The SA-30 models cost $95,000 before options, but if you’re interested in ordering one you’ll want to act quick. Saleen will only sell 10 units of each of the three different SA-30 models and the Mustang will likely be the one in biggest demand.
