Rugged Geek Has Big Plans for Portable Charging
Rugged Geek is entering the automotive space with jump starters, and power stations to keep enthusiasts safe and on the road.
If you read any automotive related article nowadays it is likely about or referencing all-electric vehicles. That makes sense as that is the way the world is heading. And while it certainly is a big change from traditional internal combustion engine powered vehicles, the EV can be a very exciting performance vehicle. But before we get ahead of ourselves, we need to realize that most cars today have just one battery and its main purpose is to start the car. It then turns the driving duties over to the engine. So, the battery even in a traditional car is as important as always. The folks at Rugged Geek are here with products designed to assist the all important battery.
If a car is in storage for a long time or driven in harsh weather conditions the battery can quickly become drained. At that point you are not going anywhere. If you don’t want to rely on AAA or another roadside assistance program you are going to need some equipment to enable you to get yourself out of the situation on your own. Current Product Line

That being said, safe, high-quality portable car chargers and power packs are something that most vehicle owners both need and want. Rugged Geek is new to the scene. The plan is to offer a line of starters and power stations, although currently only the RG3000 HD Portable Jump Starter & Power Supply is available for purchase. This heavy-duty charger is designed to jump start any 12V vehicle, including a heavy-duty truck. It also comes with USB ports and a cigarette lighter adapter to power other electric devices, including a generator and sports a nifty flashlight. Other chargers are available for pre-order, and the power station supply is in the works.
