If there’s one thing you can count on with Roush Performance, it’s that the company is always looking to raise the stakes in the world of Mustangs.

The shop’s latest effort aimed at pushing the envelope is a more powerful version of its special-edition “Warrior” Mustang, as highlighted in a Bold Ride report. The new Warrior, based on the V8-powered GT and turbocharged EcoBoost ponies, cranks out 670 horsepower.

That’s nearly 50 more horses than the previous model, thanks to a new 2.3-liter TVS supercharger setup.
Other performance features include a sport exhaust system with new quad tips and new racing-spec half shafts to ensure that all that extra power is put to the ground.

Inside, the Roush Warrior has been treated to an upgraded Shaker Pro Audio system, a Roush shifter, serialized plaque, as well as embroidered headrests. The listed starting price for the special-edition Mustang is $61,969.
