Roush Performance has announced that the 2019 Stage 3 Mustang, the highest performance vehicle in Roush’s stable, will be available for pre-order at all authorized Ford Dealers on September 1, 2018.  Featuring the new TVS R2650 Phase 1 Supercharger, the 2019 Stage 3 boasts a 40 horsepower increase over the previous model, unleashing the true potential of Ford’s iconic Mustang.

At the heart of the Stage 3 Mustang is the new Phase 1 TVS R2650 supercharger. Based around Eaton’s new R2650 rotating assembly and matched with a newly-designed, high-flowing front inlet, this supercharger is more efficient than the previous R2300-based supercharger, allowing 710 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque from Ford’s 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine.

Roush also maximizes the handling potential of the Stage 3 with standard performance single-adjustable coilovers, 20-inch Roush quicksilver cast aluminum wheels and 275/35R20 Continental ExtremeContact Ultra High-Performance tires.  For those looking to further fine tune the handling of their Stage 3 Mustang for track days, the optional Roush Performance three-way adjustable coilover suspension system with tuned valving helps to create unparalleled grip, enabling the Stage 3 to achieve 1.07g on the skid-pad.

Maintaining the Mustang’s timeless lines while seamlessly incorporating the latest engineering and technology, the R8 Aero Body Kit features a high-flow upper grille with the iconic “3” badge along with a variety of exterior accessories including a widened lower grille, chin spoiler, aero corner pockets and body side scoops. The customization of the ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang continues into the graphics package with a wide array of colors and patterns to choose from.

Inside, the Stage 3 receives the complete Sport Interior Package. Optional upgrades include Recaro Sport seats, custom six-speed shifter ball, Roush billet pedals and a trunk-mounted tool kit.  For those looking to add even more technology, the Stage 3 Mustang can also be equipped with the Roush Active Exhaust System, which allows the driver to control exhaust volume and tone through their smart phone or tablet.

“At ROUSH we constantly strive to produce the highest quality and most innovative performance products for our customers,” said Jack Roush Jr. “When developing the 2019 Stage 3, we let our imaginations run wild to create a car that delivers track-ready performance, but can still be driven and enjoyed on the road.”

The 2019 Stage 3 Mustang starts at $22,925 above the cost of the base vehicle and comes with a three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
