Roush Rolls Out New $30K Mustang RS

At $30,000, this new 2017 Roush Mustang might be one of the best bargains the company has ever built. But don’t get too excited.

The new model, called the Mustang RS, is more about looks than anything else. Nope, you don’t get any of those mega performance upgrades with the package, aside from the availability of the Mustang GT’s performance pack wheels and tires.

Built off of the V6 Mustang, the “RS” is essentially a cosmetic enhancement that comes with a unique Roush fascia, splitter hood, and Roush Mustang windshield banner. Inside, the RS features a special Roush gauge cluster, floor mats, and door sills.

Clearly, if hardcore performance is your thing, this probably isn’t the package for you. But if you’re shooting for a more aggressive looking V6 Mustang while keeping that price around $30K, this certainly is a viable option. And for another $590, Roush will throw in a performance exhaust system.
