Can’t imagine this one sticking around for long, even with a price tag of $159,000. This frame-off built 1968 Mustang Pro Touring, equipped with a 5.0-liter Coyote V8, is as much of a classic as it is a come-up at that price.

Another vintage offering from RK Motors Charlotte, the classic “Flashback” also features a Rod & Custom Mustang II front suspension with Chassisworks g-Link rear suspension, and a Chassisworks FAB9 rear axle. The transmission is a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual and the car sits on 17-inch American Racing 427 Cobra wheels.

In addition to the Dupont Burgundy paint work, exterior details on this ’68 pony car include Samson-branded grille work between custom, 7-inch headlights, a louvered Mustangs to Fear hood, and Eleanor-style driving lamps.

Inside, are fourth generation GTO buckets sport high quality vinyl covers, an aluminum-trimmed dash with Auto Meter Phantom gauges, and a Pioneer touchscreen head unit and controls for the car’s Vintage Air climate system installed by the pros at Samson Design.
