Restomods aren’t really a new thing, but it seems like the last five years or so has seen the market explode for companies building pristine examples of older cars complete with modern running gear. Machines like the Eagle Speedster, and pretty much everything from Icon and Singer Automotive cause auto enthusiasts the world over to drool until their laptops drown.

To celebrate these cars, CarThrottle put together a list of the most beautiful restomods on sale today, and sitting first on that list is the gorgeous Espionage Mustang from Ringbrothers. If you are unfamiliar with this car (seriously, how can you read The Mustang Source and NOT know about Ringbrothers?!), it is a 1965 Mustang that was unveiled at SEMA this year. It’s a custom widebody crafted from carbon fiber with a custom interior and a 900-plus horsepower, supercharged V8 under the hood. Of course, you shouldn’t look to closely at the motor; it’s a Chevrolet-sourced LS7.

Still it is hard to argue with what Ringbrothers has created. This car is as pretty as they come, and as fast as most any streetable Mustang you can find.

If you’re curious about the other cars on the list from CarThrottle, there is an Alfa, an MGB Roadster, the Eagle GT, and Singer makes an appearance as well.
