Ringbrothers' '69 Mustang Mach 1 Restomod Unveiled at SEMA 2019

Legendary builder Ringbrothers has outdone themselves again with an incredible race-inspired classic Mustang.

Over the years, we’ve come to expect nothing less than restomod perfection from the talented craftsmen at at Ringbrothers. After all, they’ve been churning out amazing rides seemingly like an assembly line, racking up numerous awards along the way. And for SEMA 2019, the custom builder has outdone themselves once again with this stellar 1969 Mustang Mach 1 known as UNKL.

Ringbrothers told us when they teased this wild machine mere weeks ago that it would be their “most extreme build to date.” And it’s hard to argue with that strong statement. The wide, heavily reworked classic Mustang body is most certainly a work of art, both aggressive and beautiful.

Ringbrothers gave the car what they call a “a unique race-inspired theme,” which is also obvious from the hulking fenders and massive, steamrolling multi-spoke wheels wrapped around ultra wide tires. Highlights on the exterior include a large front chin spoiler, bulging hood, and a paint job straight out of the deep blue sea. And like every other restomod worth its salt, UNKL sits mere millimeters from the ground, as it should.

Of course, this particular classic Mustang doesn’t just look the part. It also walks the walk. Mostly thanks to a hulking 520 cubic-inch V8 put together by renowned engine builder John Kaase of Kaase Racing Engines. With a generous 800+ horsepower on tap, no one would ever accuse this Mustang of being some sort of useless show queen.
