Revology Cars Unveils “Postmodern Interpretation” of a Classic Mustang

There’s nothing like a classic tribute to the sixties – especially if it’s wrapped in the body of a vintage Mustang with a modern twist. Of course, with a price tag of roughly $120, 000 (more than 3 times the cost of a 2015 base model), most folks will be left to just admiring the idea from afar. Still, the Revology Cars replica Mustang convertible is a pretty nifty piece of modern machinery.

Revology founder Tom Scarpello explains why in the promo video below: “Our car is not just a copy. Our car is really a postmodern interpretation of that original Mustang. In other words, it is upgraded with modern technology and materials that weren’t available 50 years ago.”

The Mustang, unveiled at the recent Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, is equipped with a 265-horsepower, Windsor V-8. But the Revology Mustang also comes with a number of contemporary features like LED lights and a hidden antenna, as well as a one-year bumper-to-bumper and a five-year body corrosion warranty.
