When Vortech Superchargers rolls into Las Vegas next month for the SEMA show, they’ll be showcasing a bright yellow Mustang.

Yup, we’re betting this one will be hard to miss even among the sea of other Ford pony cars at the show.

Brian Ellis, sales manager for Vortech Superchargers’ parent company, the AirPower Group, said the company was inspired to create the Project Yellow Jacket Mustang after realizing Ford doesn’t offer yellow on the 2014 model.

“We wanted to create something really eye-popping with a mechanical package to match the appearance,” said Ellis, as quoted by Sports Car Illustrated.

It’s a fitting mission statement considering the car’s specs.

In addition, to the bright yellow exterior,  Project Yellow Jacket features a 3D Carbon Boy Racer kit, a carbon-fiber cowl induction hood and some other carbon accents from TruFiber all finished in custom Dupont paint. The Mustang is powered by a Vortech V-3 Si supercharging system with 605 horsepower and 473 lb-ft. of torque with 7.5 psi of boost.

Other upgrades include a Webasto custom electronic sunroof, iForged Icon three-piece 20-inch wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis FK453 tires. The Yellow Jacket Mustang is also equipped with a custom powder-coated Maximum Motorsports Road & Track box suspension package and Baer 6S six-piston brakes.
