When it comes to modified Mustangs, there’s nothing bigger than bragging rights on power.

It’s become a vital part of the pony car world and always will be even with Ford now shooting to appeal to a softer side of the car market as well with the 2015 Mustang line-up.

That said, we figured we’d start lobbying now for the Summer return of American Muscle‘s “Mustang Mayhem,” which gave owners a shot at bragging rights last year when it comes to kicking out those big numbers on the dyno machine.

The 2013 contenders included a 2004 SVT Cobra, a 2005 Mustang GT, 2001 SVT Cobra, 2012 GT500 Super Snake, 2009 GT500 and a 2014 GT500, which collectively rumbled out an earth shattering 3,500 horse power.

The 2012 Super Snake (pictured) took home the title with a pull of 667 HP on its second run, according to American Muscle’s official’s blog report detailing the results.  We’ve included a video below capturing last year’s event in hopes of building up a bigger fan base to encourage American Muscle to bring it back in 2014.
