Here Is the Ordering Guide for the GT350 and GT350R
While we still don’t have any horsepower, weight, or other substantial figures for either the new GT350 or the GT350R Shelby Mustangs, what we can tell you is that the starting price for these two heavyweight track cars will be just $52,995.
Mustang6g got their hands on the ordering guides for both the GT350 and the R, and both cars look even more fun than promised.
The ordering guides tell a pretty good story, if indeed these are the real things. There will be two option codes, one for the standard GT350 and one for the R. The standard GT350, if you could call it that, will get a Torsen differential, 6-speed manual transmission, the line-lock we have on the regular GT, a host of race apps, Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and a few other smaller options thrown in as well.
There’s also a Track Package if you want the regular GT350 to be a bit more hardcore. That comes with the MagneRide suspension, front strut brace, a few different driving modes, and coolers for the oil, trans and differential.
Opting for the R Package brings the GT350 to a whole other level though. Included are a set of 19in carbon wheels, a set of carbon ceramic discs in the front, a different chassis tune, lighter build materials, front splitter and a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2’s. The R package also deletes the rear seats, air conditioning, floor mats, spare tire, and audio system.
You’ll be able to order the new Mustang in just 6 colors: Deep Impact Blue, Competition Orange, Magnetic, Race Red, Oxford White, Triple yellow Tri-Coat, Shadow Black and Avalanche Gray.
While there are still some questions left unanswered, one thing’s for sure: We can’t wait to get our hands on it.
