Nitto Tire Honors Mustang Heritage at Thermal Club Raceway

Drifting Galore

The final leg of the event was, of course, drifting with Gittin Jr. and DeNofa. Sure, these were only ride-alongs, but honestly how many people do you know who’ve ridden with a couple of the biggest names in Formula D? We’re going to go out on a limb here and say not many.

In fact, they drifted so much that the Nitto tires on the RTR pictured above didn’t stand a chance against their fury. What a shocker.

By day’s end, I had inhaled more tire smoke than Formula Drift’s own cameramen. And that qualifies as a win, as far as I am concerned.

As a Mustang enthusiast, my day at The Thermal Club redefined my goals, aspirations and entire mindset when it comes to the ultimate track day experience. Mustang Mania was the first of its kind for both Nitto Tire and The Thermal Club, and I couldn’t get enough.
