The arrival of the 2015 Ford Mustang at the Geneva Motor Show is a major deal. By a lot of accounts, it’s bigger than some of the million dollar super cars to be featured at the show.

The Mustang already made a huge debut in Europe as part of its global unveiling in December, but the show in Geneva marks the first public display of the Mustang that will be sold in Europe by Ford dealers.

Scheduled to arrive in dealerships later this year, the European model of the 2015 Ford Mustang will be offered with two engine options.  They include the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that will deliver an estimated 305 hp and 300 lb-ft. The GT’s 5.0-liter V8 option generates 420 hp and 390 lb-ft.

The entry-level Mustang, which is equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 that’s expected to produce at least 300 hp and 270 lb-ft, will only be sold in the US and “some minor export markets,” according to the Auto Evolution report.
