We’re looking for the loudest, nastiest sounding Mustang on the planet, so enter this exciting contest today!

Here we are, smack dab in the middle of summer. And yet, most of us aren’t able to enjoy our typical summer activities, things like car shows, meets, and various forms of racing. Thankfully, there have been a handful of online automotive-related events to attend in recent months. The latest of which comes to us from our sister site, Racing Junk, which is inviting everyone to virtually attend their Summer Sound Off. And personally, we think that Ford’s Mustang sounds better than anything else out there. So we’re looking for a few good cars!

Thus, we want you to make some noise and enter your ride in the contest. Entering is easy – simply head over here and fill out a short form with your info, along with some details about your Mustang. Then, upload up to five pictures of your car so we can see what you’re working with. Then, submit a video or link from a zipped file, YouTube link, Dropbox, Facebook Vimeo, or whatever platform you’re using.

Alternatively, you can enter by simply tagging a video on Instagram with the hashtag #RJSummerSoundOff. If you go that route, you’ll want to also add the make/model/year and specs of the car in the video, along with 2-3 still photos. For those that choose to go the Facebook route, Racing Junk will create a dedicated post you can upload to.

The video itself must be no longer than one minute. It should feature a clip of you starting up the car, along with the aforementioned images, a description of the year, make, model, engine, and transmission, and any mods or specifics that make your car sound so darn good. The more details the better, as is usually the case.

Cold starts are always a riot, but in this case, it might not be such a great idea since we also want to hear some revs. Also, you won’t want to waste any time with some silly long intro (sorry YouTubers), because you’ve only got a minute to make your point.

If you think your Mustang has what it takes to blow away the competition, head over here and get started. Once all the entries are in, Racing Junk will select the top 32 entries and place them against each other in a bracket-style, head-to-head tournament of sound. And who knows – it could be you soaking in all the glory once the smoke settles and our hearing returns to normal!
