MagnaFlow Introduces New Shorty headers for Mustang

Well, MagnaFlow feels your pain.

The California-based high-performance exhaust manufacturer is rolling out a new line of 50 state legal shorty headers for the third, fourth and fifth-generation Ford Mustangs and a few other muscle cars.

Unveiled at SEMA,   the new stainless steel headers will feature a titanium ceramic coating and tuned-length 1.75-inch tubing, welded straight collectors and all the gaskets and other hardware needed for installation.  The new MagnaFlow shorty headers will be available for models including the 1986-1993 Mustang 5.0, 1999-2004 Mustang 4.6, 2005-2010 Mustang 4.6 and 2011-2014 Mustang 5.0.

To date, MagnaFlow has primarily only built exhaust headers for race or custom applications.

No details yet on pricing but the high-performance headers are expected to go on sale next year.
