Jay Leno Adds a Shelby GT350R to His Personal Collection

What do you buy if you’re a serious lover of American muscle? A new Shelby GT350R, of course.

Well, if you can afford it, what with those big dealer surcharges some of the Shelbys are being hit with. Of course, we’re pretty sure that doesn’t matter much to Jay Leno, who apparently just picked up a new GT350R. After all, with the former Tonight Show host being such a huge fan of the new Shelby, we can’t imagine any sticker price could deter him from picking one up.

Then again, what car collector wouldn’t want to own a 526-horsepwoer Shelby being touted as one the greatest Mustangs that Ford has ever built? In fact, we can’t imagine any fan of American muscle not chomping at the bit to get their hands on this car.

That’s not even considering the fact that we’re talking about Leno, who reportedly owns 90 motorcycles and 130 automobiles, many that highlight his longstanding passion for American muscle. We just hope he’ll find ample time to devote to the new GT350R.
