5 Times Mustang Modding Went Horribly Wrong
Mustang is one of the most iconic American muscle cars, but some people know how to ruin a good thing. Too much is never enough for these people, and unfortunately they turned their attention on modding a Mustang.
1. Why? Just Why?
You could very well be looking at one of the ugliest Mustangs on the streets today. Whether you are bothered by the double spoilers, the rear-side vents, or the overall color, some of which may actually be wood grain, this car is someone's bad idea.
2. Can You Say Cobra, Again?
The Mustang is an attractive car right off the dealer's lot, especially this generation Cobra. However, in the wrong people's hands anything can be ruined. We are not against the two Cobra decals on the bumper, though we are not fans of it, but the stuffed-animal Cobra is just a bad, stupid idea. This is a quick way to make a pretty car ugly.
3. When You Park the Bronco and Mustang Too Close
Own a Ford Bronco and a Mustang? Be careful how close you park them in the garage, or you might get an offspring like this. If you want to play off-road, the Mustang is the worst choice, so why not get yourself a Bronco or Ranger? Mustangs do have a history in local and club rally racing, but not rock crawling or mud bogs.
4. Is There a Mustang Under There?
First, you must give props to this Mustang's owner, because it is obvious this build wasn't cheap. However, there is a line between tasteful and too much, and this Mustang did a smoky burn out right across it. The hood vents are almost passable, but the doors are certainly over-kill, and the rest is just messy. We all want to love a Mustang taken to the extreme, but the Lambo doors may just have turned out love to hate.
5. Are You Noticing Me?
Well, if this doesn't grab your attention, nothing will, but not necessary in a good way. The first bad decision this person made are those big wheels, which ruin both the ride and the performance of the Mustang. The second mistake is the bright purple paint, which only fits if your name is Prince.
