It finally happened. After over a year’s wait, the trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May were back on screen doing what they do best: saying a bunch of non-sense and driving some badass cars.

Badass cars indeed, as they chose not one, but three Ford Mustangs to kick off the all-new series, The Grand Tour. Granted, one of them looks to be Galpin-Fisker’s Rocket Mustang conversion, body kit, modified, errr… weird thing. Still, James May and Richard Hammond got behind the wheel of two Shelby Mustangs to accompany Jeremy’s Rocket.

Within the first couple of minutes of the opening scene, the Mustangs transported the hosts to a tent in the middle of the desert, which will be The Grand Tour‘s traveling circus for the entire first season of the Amazon show. Contrary to the BBC’s Top Gear, all episodes will be filmed in a different location in various states and countries.

In what seemed like a very American-oriented car show, the Mustangs represented the good ‘ole ‘Red, White, and Blue. And later on they showed a very stereotypical American NASCAR driver test one of their cars around the new test track, oddly called the Ebola-drome.

I won’t spoil the rest for ya, as you seriously need to watch it as soon as possible (in case you haven’t already), and enjoy the amazing Mustang opening scene!
