Gary Richards Sweeps NHRA Factory Stock Showdown In A Cobra Jet

Gary Richards recently won the NHRA Factory Stock Showdown in Englishtown, NJ by defeating the entire field in his 428-CI, V8 powered 2010 Cobra Jet with a winning pass of 9.655 @ 148.82 mph in the finals. The E-Town event is only one of three Factory Stock Showdowns that brings Ford, Chevy and Dodge Factory Stock racers together to duke it out.
I’ve only seen one race with Cobra Jets and it was simply stunning. What I wouldn’t give to make a pass or even ride along in a Cobra Jet!
