I love rangers!!! However I will never own one...not for the reason that I wouldn't like to have one as a little farm truck or something....but for the simple fact that everybody I know that has owned a ranger has totaled it....so I'm just going to avoid that vehicle since it attracts wrecks apparently!

but I do like them!!

Rangers are great little trucks, very durable, reliable, and strong. I have a 3.0L and I tow a trailer load that weighs about 1500-2000 pounds across a mountainous highway with grades up to 8% and it makes it up a hill nicely. Thats just a 3.0L, I want a 4.0L though. Just for extra horsepower and bragging rights.
As for the crashes, Rangers actually are pretty strong. Some crashes are worse than others. My mom backed my Ranger into a tree at 5 mph, bent my bumper but you know could be worse. If she did that with a Mustang the whole trunk would be bent in.

Haha. Nice! My '03 Ranger is supposed to be a base truck but it has the Edge Package so its pretty much at XLT status. Also with the Edge package my truck is at 4WD height being a 2WD.
You should get an older Ranger, lower it, and drop in a 5.0L in there. You'll have your Stang, your work truck, and your fun truck. Lol.

We might have that Edge package too (I can't remember for sure), cause the sucker definitely sits up high...

And I don't need a truck with a 5.0, that's what the Mustang is for...

Haha. Very true. You'd be amazed at how many people put in a 5.0 in a Ranger. I wouldn't mind a 5.0L in a Ranger, I haul a lot with my Ranger. A 4.0L would be enough for me though.

Nice trucks. The Ford Ranger forum is a pretty great forum. I like your trucks as well as Gabe's.
Here's a pic of my Ranger:

My truck is a work truck, play truck, and well an almost daily driver besides my Mustang. I do just about everything with that truck.

Yeah, pretty much everything. I've carried a touch over 1/2 ton in the bed. I've towed 2000 over a mountain. I've gone off-road in it (its a 2WD). I've driven it almost everyday. Its done a lot. Its a great truck. Second favorite vehicle next to the Mustang.
