Am I Crazy?? 2002 Lighting for trade of 2008 Ranger

So I have ran across an 2002 Red Ford Lightning on a used car lot. Yes I know this could spell disaster. It has 117,000 miles on it and is all original. It does not have the stock wheels and tires though. The cost is just under $14,000. (I'm not paying that!) I first pulled up in my 2011 Mustang GT and told them to back off, your not getting this lol!! I do have a 2008 Ranger Sport. I own it and the values are very clost to equal. The Ranger is worth a bit more. I gave the offer of a even trade, and they seems very interested. So what does everyone on here think?? Thanks everyone.

Whoever had Lightining before you probably drove it pretty hard so at 117,000 miles I would stay away from it.

No. Unless you *want* to deal with fixing a high strung, ragged out Lightning, then go for it. I'd keep the Ranger otherwise.

If you are serious about getting the L I would have a reputable mechanic look at it before you get it. Good luck on your decision.
