v6 mufflers vs GT mufflers

i want to put duals on my v6 but what would be louder and perform better? aftermarket mufflers designed and meant for the v6 or after market gt mufflers like bassani, borla, or slp?

The reason most v-6 folks opt for the GT mufflers is because they are really inexpensive, like the pair I have for $80.00 plus shipping send a PM

AFAIK, i don't believe the aftermarket mufflers are really designed for the V6... they simply just sell your the right half of a GT kit...

JBA makes a good dual cat-back system for the V6 2005+ mustang. These aren't the cheapest, but they look great and are meant specifically with a v6-er in mind. I have a set that cost $595 (with free shipping) that's still in the box, cause I haven't got my painted GT bumper yet. Now with all of these shelby mods running around lately, instead of trying to make mine a smokin' sleeper six, I'm gonna supercharge the hell out of a shelby crate engine and try and get a badass ride pushin' 100 horses per cylinder. That being said, I might have an unused dual exhaust set for sale.....

That's a great concept but by the time you finish paying for all that you could buy a Shelby. To make this happen not only will you replace the engine (no small feat) you'll need to replace the transmission, drivetrain, brakes, wheels, tires, electronics and rearend. Good luck!

Oh, paying it is no problem, and neither is putting it together. My biggest thing is that I want it yesterday if you catch me. I know it's involved, but it'll be bad-*** to have a shelby convert that will put out 800 horses, with a vin that reads V6!
