Paxton SuperCharger
Paxton SuperCharger
Hi im new to this forum and am very interested in doing alot of modifications to my pony. My friend has recently purchased a 1994 z-28 stick shift camaro and last night we went to an empty road and put them both to the test. I was very impressed with my Stang because honestly it being a stock v6 against an LT1 v8 i thought he was going to leave me way behind. We went at it 3 times. The first time i WON mainly because he failed with the 3rd gear. The other 2 times he beat me but my stangs nose was around where his side view mirrors were. Point in case my stang kept up with him and was very happy but now im looking to make my pony into a Super-Stang...what can you guys tell me about the paxton SuperCharger? im interested in making atleast up to 320hp and A BIG INCREASE in TORQUE!!! i had insident earlier today which kinda killed my good mood from last night that involved my cars torque...so if you guys can help me i would be very appreciative....Thanks in advance

The Paxton Novi 1200 is a centi supercharger running at 9 psi with a water to air intercooler should put out around 280-300RWHP (around 325-350 HP at the Flywheel), you might want to look at a Vortech S/C as they merged with Paxton same type of supercharger and power. A lot of guys around the forums run a Vortech and it seems like a very good supercharger to go with from the feed back.
My buddy has a 95 Z28 with the LT1 (I think that was the last year for the LT1) with a stick that I run against at the track quite regularly. Id have to say Ive beat him once, and Im usually neck and neck with him, or right behind him... so its very possible
