Baby got new shoes!!

As a few of you know, I ran over a screw a few weeks ago. The night that the tire sat on the rim cause a crack in the firewall. Since I have over 12,000 miles on car, it didn't make sense to buy a new stock tire, and it would've cost about $275 for decent rubber put on the back.... and those weren't even very good.

A few of you mentioned the Saleen website, and for $525, I could've gotten a set of GT bullit take-offs. Before I ordered, I decided to scour the classifieds. I finally found a set of the upgraded GT rims and wheels with only 1200 miles on them for $400!

The best part about it was the guy lives up in Denver, which is only an hour away! Since we were heading up there anyway for the cherry blossom festival, I arranged to pick them up today. They were on within an hour after I got home! :car-smiley-003:

Without further ado, here are the pictures:

Great choice - great deal!! I'm running the same setup and really like them, plus I don't have the wheelspin I had with the Goodrichs. After I swapped out, I sold the stock rims on ebay for around $200. Just a thought.

Believe it or not, and all I sold were the rims (they were the premium with spinners) I put the tires on the family Toyota. I believe the buyer put the rims on an older Mustang.

Well, the hard part for me is I was thinking of keeping two of the rims for drag radials.

That means I'd only be able to sell two. Who in the world wants to buy 1/2 a set of rims??

@SOLDSHORT

Thanks! I'll have to keep an eye on that. It's a bit more than I was looking to spend, but it's worth it.

That way my first mod when I bought my Redfire. The guy lived a couple hours away, I got them for $300.

He had a early 05 vert with about 10K in mods, he just wanted the wheels out of the garage.

Nice deal! I like them a lot better than the bullits. Not as many people have them.
