I am looking to buy the Roush rear springs to lower just the rear of my car. I cannot find anything that says that the Roush springs will work on a V6. Can anyone verify that they can fit?

I am pretty sure they would, but I am sure somebody on there can give you a definaite answer.

As far as I know the only company that offers different springs for V6's and GT's in Eibach...

 

Please do not just change the rear springs. Springs are designed to work together as a system. You need to change all 4. I put in the standard Steeda Sport Springs (PN 555-8215) on my V6 and love the results. You can keep the stock struts/shocks if you'd like and have good results. The Steeda springs work awsome on either the V6 or the GT. I own a V6 and I love them. These springs lower the front of the car one inch and the rears are lowered one and 1/2 inches. That gets rid of the high-rear-end that many people hate. Steeda takes care of that problem with this spring set.

As a matter of personal preference for where I was personally going w/ my car's suspension, I opted for the Tokico D-spec strut/shocks. I love the adjustable struts and shocks. However, this is a bigger $$$$ investment and was done as a matter of preference, not because the Steeda springs won't work w/ the stock struts/shocks.


As a minimal setup, I recommend:

Steeda Springs P/N 555-8215.
Steeda Adj Panhard Bar.

When you lower the rear end of the car the axle center moves. I recommend an adjust panhard to get the rear axle centered back where its supposed to be.

I have seen many GT owners lowering just the rear with either Steeda or Roush springs & they haven't had any trouble.
