Well , after thinking about it for a while, i finally had time to go to the dyno last night. Iam having trouble posting the graphs ,so i would apreciate it if someone lends me a hand with that. Made a couple of pulls and got 200.42 HP and 215.44 TQ SAE after playing a tad with the timing. First 3 runs were in the 197-198 HP range. I took fuel out and the torque improved a bit from 215 to 216 but hp fell to 198, so i added back the fuel. This was on a DynoJet 248A with all the latest software and sensors so the graphs have all the info u need, just need help posting them. Iam more than happy with the numbers taking into account the 85 degree heat and 50 % plus humidity levels jejeje. Nice numbers, dude! Breaking 200 RWHP is just great.

How can I help with the posting? It pretty much walks you through it on the posting page...be sure to use the "More options" button so you can upload the files. The files need to be pretty small in size.

I feel left out. I've done just about every bolt on lol, but still no dyno. I just need to get pushed to do it lol

Very nice numbers PR. 200rwhp in an automatic is sweet for sure. On an ideal day numbers might be around 202-204rwhp.

Was that sarcasm because you flaunt 402 SAE corrected flywheel HP but have no time slips? If not nevermind.

Good numbers PR.

Nice attempt at nothing DoNotOwnAMustangFan! Please dont ruin the thread..

Also with race gas, I could put 400RWHP SAE! So dont be so foolish..

The 402HP is with a 10psi tune with 91 Octane pump gas, and not a proper 12psi tune.. I'm being nice to you guys, by not presenting accurate 12psi numbers.. There is no way you could handle me posting such fantastic numbers.. Dont push it, or I'll upset everyone... I have compassion so have chosen the path of least resistance..

I was obviously talking about the statement I quoted MSP. And I did give him props: " Good numbers PR." Anyway, I shouldn't have even said anything, it doesnt matter.

Can you please explain for me exactly what you mean.. Your trying to give me a guilt trip, and I am missing your point.. If you mean the statement in relation to my very dear friend Fazm, then I'll explain...

Fazm feels that dyno's are not needed, and are a waste of money.. They only show how much raw power your car is displaying, but not a true indication to how fast it is..

Now of course this view is obviously in relation to my dyno's, and not anyone elses.. This is because my dyno shows I do retain enough power to dip into the 12's.. Which places me to high utop the food chain.. So in an effort to dumb down my dyno sheets, a consorted effort has been made to relagate the dyno sheets to a Dyno Queen Status.. This way, no matter how many dyno's I put up, I could not be giving credit for the awsome numbers..

In a catastophic turn of events, dyno sheets are somehow back with us to stay, and are now considered a meaningful display of ones power.. If we look at PR 4.6's dyno in a N/A situation using his 05V6, we can see that he has pulled off something quite special.. Not only is our friend PR 4.6 running more than 200RWHP, it is important to note that he is indeed using an Auto Tranny.. When you look at the numbers at the flywheel, you will understand the implications of his tremendous accomplishment..

PR 4.6 is at 250HP @ the flyhweel using an 20% drivetrain loss.. Allowing for 270 Ft.Lbs of TQ at the flywheel..

Looking at his numbers and comparing to an 1995 5.0 Mustang we see a few things..

http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/94-98/95/

And also 1987 5.0 Specs..

http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/87-93/87/

Lets also look at 1996

http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/94-98/96/

Now we view 2000!

http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/99-04/00/

Lets also add 2004

http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/time...4/04/index.htm

Now with the 2000 being the ultimate achievment, we can now place his success into proper context.. PR 4.6 has truley represented for the 2005 Mustang V6's.. I have noted his contributions, and have accounted for his determination and philosophy to creating power N/A!

Okay. So it ("it" being your statement that I quoted way back in my orignal post) was sarcasm. Thanks.

On a side note concerning your diction...I don't think you actually know the meaning of alot of the words you use.

PR 4.6, nice numbers! I will attempt to post my Dyno results as we have similar cars. Mine is also on a Dyno Jet and the tune was dialed in by "Dyno Dan" out of Charlotte using a 91 Octane Tune.

No, that's Racer's dyno. PR's dyno is SAE and Racers is STD.

Yep i was going to point out the same thing, my numbers are SAE. Nice numbers Racer3 ,A/f looks pretty lean maybe u can get a bit more power if u fatten the fuel curve a bit. Did u really run 14.7 at 98 miles N/A? Sorry to point it out like this, but your HP and TQ numbers dont go hand in hand with 98 miles , thats why iam asking. Can u post the time slip?

Thanks to everyone for the Congrats, jeje. No Queen here, car goes to the track weekly ,jeje.

Hambone , everytime i try to post the graph it says it is to big, i tried scaling it down but then get an unaprove file extension error message. I have all the graphs on the WinPEP7 from Dynojet i can email them if anybody wants to help a "cumputer challenged friend", lol.

PR 4.6, Yup, I ran a 14.7 @98 MPH. I don't know what your basing your assumption on, but that's what it was. One important factor to consider - it was at night so I'm sure the cool dense air helped somewhat. This has been almost a year ago on a Test and Tune at Darlington. If I can find the time slip, I'll scan it and post.
As to your file post; if you'll reduce the image size to say 640 x 480 it'll go. I had the same message you got before I reduced the size. In WINPEP7 go to file export as, name the file and save it and you've got it.
I'll also post my last dyno run with the 4:10's and racing fuel.

Iam basing my assumption in that no other car here runs 98 miles with a v-6 specially NA. My car is an Auto , has more horsepower than yours and will definately not do over 93 mph. My other car(oo GT 5 speed) needed 250 hp and 315 of torque to the wheels to do 98 miles in the 1/4 .Our friend BlackLX4.0, on a 75 hp nitrous shot traps 98miles. I have nothing against you, dont take this the wrong way, its just that iam a bit skeptical when it comes to the internet, thats why i like to post slips and dyno graphs. If you really did trap 98 more power to you, thats great. If you get your car to trap that high again you should be getting a 14.0 -13.9 easily. Congratulations again for your times. That makes it 3 v-6s in the 14.7s. FAZM 14.73, PR 4.6 14.70 and you 14.7?. Auto's are faster apparently!,lol.

PS Racer when i saw your graph I also noticed that the bottom axis is set up for speed (mph) and that affects the torque displayed. When i set up my graph with the speed mph axis on the bottom and change SAE to STD my numbers change to 216.84 HP and 262.55 TQ. In addition the 209 is an artificial spike at the point were the converter locks up.

Congrats on the dyno nice. yea I remember you now PR 4.6 from another forum about 4 months ago your car ran a 14.92 with just a tune only I think it was and it was one of the fastest times I seen at that time N.A.

Racer 3 I agree with PR 4.6 you might of run the 14.70 but the MPH looks to be differently off it was a year ago and you probaly just don't remember the correct MPH check link below just add the MPH and 3500 for weight. He is right on with the 250HP to hit 98MPH If you find it and it says 98MPH please post it!!
http://www.4lo.com/calc/dynocalc.htm

PR 4.6 do you any plan for any mods in next few months? also when you going back to track?
