While I can't find any out yet for the V6, it sounds like a worthwhile upgrade. From what I read, it offers TQ improvement over the stock part. Does anyone have any experience swapping this part out on previous mutangs?

 

Also, in my effort to play catch up and do homework in the performance area. I was recently watching HP TV and came accross an episode about replacing the distributor with a tweakable dual bushing unit. Is this worth it as well over our stock units? They seem quite pricey but want to look at every avenue of performance on my car. What about spark plugs, new ignition wires, etc.

 

I've had the TC conversation with Lidio a couple of times... he feels a TC upgrade should be high on the list of mods if you are serious about your 1/4 mile times... I think he said something with a a stall in 2500 to 2800 range... don't remember exactly... but I do know he thought it would a good idea... maybe even before gears...

 

Really?!?!?!? Hmmm, did he happen to metion a kit that would work for our cars? I wonder what the cost would be and what would it entail to get it installed.

 

no we didn't go into details... as far as a kit, brand or what it would take to install...
