Since the front swaybar is bigger on the v8 the rear would be to strong for the v6 unless you upgraded the front.

I just ordered the GT convertible rear sway bar from here:
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=14734
He gives you hardware and everything you need for a great price. It was like $225 for everything. A certain Ebayer is charging $300. I ordered the front GT sway bar for $30(!) from here:

I highly recommend this upgrade.

I haven't regretted it a day since I did it. You're looking at about an hour of work, maybe a little more if you don't have a lot of auto repair experience. Try to get the parts from Kevin. I got it from that certain eBay'er, but that was before his price went up another 30 bucks. I don't want to razz him, though. He really went the extra mile to get me what I needed when parts were in short supply. Good luck!

100 posts! woo-hoo!!!

A highly worth-while swap, as long as you upgrade the front bar as well as adding the rear. Keep in mind that you must order a REAR 'Vert bar, for a 'Vert...Coupe bar will not fit a 'Vert, but a 'Vert bar fits all. Many comments and thoughts in other thread. Take the time to read thru. Good luck!

Upgrading to the GT's sway bars works well.

It's so nice that Ford did it for us Pony owners.
