Took ella in for heater fix, dealership CRACKED top of dash on driver side from vent by windshield towards steering wheel-didnt tell us about it when we picked up, saw it next day in the light of day. Took it back to them to make it right, the replacement is inferior! blue-ish carbon panels on center & passenger air vents & vents are gray instead of black. Why the blankity blank did they NOT put my OEM panels back??? as if i didnt like carbon before (sorry carbon lovers) I despise it now! it was only the TOP of the dash on drivers side that was cracked. soooo tired of dealing with this dealership. i have ordered oem panels & sending them the bill to reimburse me.
its all black, some parts look a little gray in pic above. the center carbon panel is blue-ish like passenger side.

Back In The Day I Sold Kits of Every Style of Oem Dash Panels as Kits & Also Vents Themselves To Swap Around! I Have Had Hands on Every Color so I Know The Mismatch Well! Of Course That Was Just Shy of a Couple of Decades!

So are they going to reimburse you for the replacement panels? Did you also submit a compliant with the dealership service manager about the damages they were responsible for?

i emailed them letting them know i will be contacting them after i receive my order, if product is acceptable, i will be sending them a bill for reimbursement. i also asked to them let me know WHY my panels that were perfectly intact were replaced with crap when it was the top of the dash they cracked & were replacing.

Was this the dealership's service manager you asked regarding the explanation for the cracked damages to the top of your dash panel and what they intend to do about it for making things right?
If it was the service manager and you didn't get a straight answer, then I would recommend taking the next step and request speaking to the dealership's general manager in person...

i am raising a stink again with them LOL one of the guys that was working with us after they cracked my dash became no longer employed there, took them forever after that.

At least they took the first step in making things right by firing that incompetent idiot who was responsible for cracking your dash panel, in the first place.. Now let's find out if they follow through with reimbursing you for the replacement panels...
