Question Question? Do Mustangs ever return to the (USA) States, once sold OS?

This one's for sale $94,000 AUD in my neck of the woods, Australia. Ford built 5,120 Grabber specials, and this example is one of 1,384 in the standout colour of Grabber Blue. According to the Marti Report, this Mustang was ordered in the Denver Colorado ordering district and delivered to the original owner on the 14th of May 1970. Optioned with power steering, AM radio and colour keyed racing mirrors, this Mustang is powered by the factory fitted matching numbers F code 302 2V V8 engine and the C-4 Cruise-O-Matic transmission. The Mustang has been subsequently fitted with front and rear spoilers and a rear window louvre.

Imported to Australia in 2014 and owned by the current owner since then, the Mustang has been signed by Mustang performance tuner legend Jack Roush.

It's a beautiful '70 but it's got '69 Boss stripes. Curious as to why?

1970 Mustang Grabber Models

Towards the beginning of the 1970 model year, Ford introduced the Grabber Mustangs to promote their new line of Grabber colors, including Grabber Blue, Grabber Orange, Grabber Green, and Grabber Yellow. The were optioned with the “Grabber Special Value Package”.

All of these Grabber Mustangs could only be ordered with the sportsroof model, and could be ordered with one of two stripe packages. One of the packages was similar to the ‘1969 Boss C-stripe, without the “BOSS 302” insert lettering. The other package reflected the 1970 stripe, but began at the dual sport mirrors. This stripe either had the “302” or “351” engine displacement placed at the leading edge of the stripe.

Other features on the Grabber Mustangs included blackout trim paint, dog dish hub caps, trim rings and F-70 whitewall tires. It is believed that 5,120 Grabber Mustangs were produced.

A lot of American cars get converted to RHD here in Australia. I guess that would kill any interest or desire to see them go back to the US?

Unless, the new owner would be able to convert back to LHD...
