Past and currently owned cars.....

Here's some pictures of my past and presently owned vehicles. The red mustang is a 1990 LX I sold back in 2007. The white GT-350 I just purchased with only 22k original miles. The corvette is a 1992 with only 14k original miles. The Ford F-100 is a 1970 XLT with only 34k original miles. I currently own the F-100, Corvette, and the GT350......Det45

The corvette has a 300HP LT1 ZF six speed manual. Both mustangs are 5.0 AODs. The F-100 has a 360FE with C6 auto.

The three blue convertibles are the current fleet ('65 Corvair, '13 GT, wife's '03 Miata).

The black '65 Corvair was my first car, the bronze '66 my second car, the '90 Probe GT my third, the yellow '66 my fourth, and the '99 green Miata my fifth car.

I've always like Corvairs, maybe some day I'll buy one.

I guess my stable has changed since I last posted in 2017 (post 3). Only the Trans Am remains. I also upgraded from that C4 to a C6 for awhile before selling it for my new Challenger purchase in 2020. I really enjoyed the performance in those Corvettes, especially the insanely fast LS3, but we became tired at the lack of space. At least we got to experience them. it was fun but I don't miss them one bit..

The wife said I should get a dealers license. Here's a pic of my rolling stock a few years back. Some have stayed (The Camaro, and the wife's '18 are still in the yard.), some have changed, but I still own too many.

The replacement for the silver Stingray. We've owned some kind of Corvette since 1980. It's like a genetic defect now.

This one replaced the truck.

And of course this little '07 replaced my '06.

Going to go from oldest first. Had a couple of Barracudas, a '67 Camaro convertible, a nice little Valiant Signet, a LeMans 400 a Triumph Spitfire, and an assortment of RWD Celicas, but this '69 Caprice with a built L-48 350 was my first California car, bought from a friend in SoCal after he moved back to Florida soon after I first moved here almost 30 years ago.

This image of my all-original Supra was taken by Jeff Koch of Hemmings Sports & Exotic before I sold the car to a couple from Canada after owning it for more than twenty years.and driving it across the country on Route 66.

I soon purchased and still own this Medium Dark Purple Metallic '95 Firebird Formula for a bargain price from the original owners. It is 1 of 37 built in this color in '95 (and handful more in '96) and 1 of less than all 1800 or so Formula convertibles built from 1994 to 1997.

I wanted a 2nd generation Firebird so badly that I bought this original '76 Camaro with a perfect interior and totally straight body in Southern California as a substitute for just $4000 in 2016. It had been stored for 21 years but no one bought it because of two small rust holes under that wrap-around rear window and the straight 6 cylinder under the hood. It freaked out Pennsylvanians for two years when I drove it every day year 'round even in the snow!

This 45,000-mile 1975 Firebird Esprit is an even rarer factory color car than the '95 at least as far as survivability --- the paint is Persimmon, which varies from an earth orange in the sunlight to a cool apple red in the shade. The engine is still incredibly tight and it may be one of just a handful in this color. All '75s came with the sports ("radial tuned") suspension with rear sway bar and h/d springs.

This is my new driver, at least on weekends -- a stock, one-previous-owner 80,000 mile 2006 Legend Lime Mustang GT convertible. Not sure I'm crazy about the black leather interior on 105 degree days, but I love the 5 speed manual!
