Couldn't find a post specifically for the GT. Saw one for the EcoBoost and for other generations, but not this one. Maybe I missed it? Anyways, posting the photos I took during my trip from Indiana back to my hometown in Illinois. I avoided all interstates. Even saw the brick section of Route 66.
Great idea, and great pictures Woody. And, there's nothing like a ride on Route 66. I would love to post some more pictures. But it's been raining the last three weeks here, and the car hasn't been out of the garage since. I'm looking for some better weather after today, so hopefully I can get the car out. Heck with only 200 miles on the odo I don't even know if everything works.

It's a lot more fun to drive through small town after small town. With Track Mode enabled, you get to hear the engine downshift as you enter town. Then when you leave, you get to open it back up. Something you don't get to do very much on the Interstate.
I hadn't taken a long cruise with the car until this past weekend. So it was nice to let it warm up. And boy, I couldn't have gotten any luckier with the rain. As I was about 30 mins away from the brick road, the sky's just let loose. Visibility through the rain was near zero. I was doing 35-40 on the highway because I couldn't see. But, like it was meant to be, the rain just stopped as soon as I got to that section of road, and the the scene was perfect.

There are some very nice sections of Route 66 in Illinois. We've been on all except Chicago. Being a small town boy I don't go near the big cities.
BTW, that style of Mustang wheels look 100% better when blacked out. Nice job.

Thanks! I had to go back to my first photos I took after I got it, just to make sure they were the same wheels. They turned out MUCH better than I thought. I was expecting some texturing on the outer parts of the spokes, but they came out smooth.
Just saw this thread... Here's mine, took it yesterday:
I was sort of window shopping for things, and for some reason took that, my latest photo. It's not very well framed or anything though, just something of a post-it note for a light I maybe was gonna get.
I didn't if it matters, but there ya go.
/What?
//OH. Well... dang. I don't even have an S550. I came from the 'New Post' thing, so... well.. uh.. Nevermind?
Being the only picture I have right now I'm a gonna post them for the heck of it. It's time to get this thing on a nice day trip to the Smokey Mountains. Maybe get some better pictures along the way.
Wish I would have set this up better. As I was driving out of the parking lot, I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't get a photo of my car with the B-17, but I didn't want to be "that guy" who parks right in the middle of the road to get the perfect shot.
So here's one of my car, sorta. And a MUCH better one of the B-17.
