For my first question

Hello members, newbie here and first time mustang owner with lots of questions. I just purchased from a friend a 2005 supercharged 2005 mustang GT with 1000 miles, looking forward to lots of upgrades. First change is going to be wheels, it has 20's which look ok but the back tire is too small and don't fill wheel well up and advice on this ?

you could look for wheel & tire packages on AmericanMuscle.com, latemodelrestoration.com, cjponyparts.com, & im sure theres many more. I think 18"-19" wheels look great on s197 but of course that's an opinion

Need to see pics but those should fill your wheel wells pretty nicely. Others on here have gone as wide as 305's on the S197 & S440. I would guess that more than likely the car has stock springs and could stand to be lowered. Might look to see if the car has been lowered yet. Typically most handling packages will lower the car by an inch or 1.5 inches... I am running that tire size on all four corners of my S197 Roush. It has been lowered by 1.5 inches. I don't think I want to go too much bigger on mine. Do not think the S550 is a whole lot different for tire sizing.

Post some pictures.

So car came with 2 new tires and 2 15 year old tires, replaced the 2 yesterday but will be getting something bigger in the back down the road.

I know Roush, Steeda, and Eibach are a few well respected kits... There are others out there as well.

There originally was a second picture on my other post above, not sure where it went. Added it back for a front view if you care...

Nice looking 2005 by the way! Looks to be in pretty good shape, congrats!
